there was a slight and persistent pressure that resided in the back of her skull, accompanied by a numbness that infected both body and mind as she shakily navigated her cabin. she had only been returned to her home discreetly and efficiently, roughly several days having passed since her initial departure. when she had been returned to her original environment, the woman sought to fulfill her daily rituals - behaving as if nothing had changed.
noise originated from both within and outside of her cabin, her pokemon aware of her return - radiating nervousness and uncertainty. hypno was presently seated upon the sofa, her pinprick gaze intent as her mistress traveled the length of the cabin; garbed in loose pajamas and fuzzy slippers.
cait appeared a touch bemused, pausing occasionally as she turned about; sometimes halting abruptly to tilt her head this way and that - as though she was mulling over something in particular that required all her attention. eventually she'd continue, slowly transitioning from sleepwear attire to something that consisted of a slightly wrinkled t-shirt, denim trousers and scuffed boots.
"what's today?"
she paused before a calendar, squinting at the last marked off dates regardless.
- tuesday, mistress. -
cait released a quiet hum and hypno's gaze lingered upon her face.
"that's not right," she remarked, plainly.
she produced a pen and marked off the dates.
- i suppose it's not. -
the former gym leader said nothing else as she exited her cabin, the girl peering up at the cloudy morning sky that threatened light rain. a good quantity of her pokemon were sparsely populating her yard as she surveyed her surroundings, the creatures expectant and quiet and rumbling lowly.
